Mr. Squiggle

Longest running childrens program in Australia, Mr. Squiggle ("the man
from the moon") with a pencil shaped nose "spacewalked" down to earth to
draw "squiggles" for his friends, much to the impatient chagrin of the perpetually
grumbling Blackboard. The series ran in various formats for over 40 years on the ABC.

The Grundy-produced masterwork of Reg Watson's that really needs no explanation, due to its
considerable popularity not just in Australia but also worldwide! For a good 20 years now, people
have been tuning in to be a part of the daily ups and downs of the families living on Ramsay
Street in the (fictitious) eastern-Melburnian suburb of Erinsborough.

This retrospectively camp weeknightly soap-opera screened on the 0-10 Network - with its many fans
and detractors - was set in an apartment block in Sydney and came a with a whole host of
intriguing characters and a series of outrageous and bawdy storylines.
