Long running science show for children produced by Banksia Productions for Nine, and still the best
of the bunch (e.g. Hot Science, Y?, etc.) - maybe it was Doctors Dean and Rob's genuine interest in improving
children's minds that made the show seem more plausible than all of the others.

The Darryl Somers Show (1982 - 83)

Children's presenter Darryl Somers' foray into presenting a variety show for a more mature audience.
It didn't last long, however, in 1984, Darryl's flagship programme Hey Hey It's Saturday moved to
the Saturday 6:30pm timeslot on the Nine Network, where it enjoyed its greatest success as a variety
show for the whole family - the best of both worlds here, perhaps, was the key for Darryl.
