Curiosity Show

Long running science show for children produced by Banksia Productions for Nine, and still the best of the bunch (e.g. Hot Science, Y?, etc.) - maybe it was Doctors Dean and Rob's genuine interest in improving children's minds that made the show seem more plausible than all of the others.

Children's presenter Darryl Somers' foray into presenting a variety show for a more mature audience. It didn't last long, however, in 1984, Darryl's flagship programme Hey Hey It's Saturday moved to the Saturday 6:30pm timeslot on the Nine Network, where it enjoyed its greatest success as a variety show for the whole family - the best of both worlds here, perhaps, was the key for Darryl.
