The Seven Revolution (late 60's - early 70's)

| "The Seven Revolution" campaign was devised by Bruce Gyngell and the theme used was based on
Promises Promises (composed by Burt Bacharach). This version was used for
several years exclusively on HSV7.

"call in" stations throughout Victoria. The voiceover started before the music finished on this
occasion to meet the 6:30:00 news start, but this was not normal practice.

Looking Good (1972)

A further development of the Seven Revolution theme, this time with the addition of the words
'Looking Good'.Looking Good, voiced-over by Don Rainsford - Don did 90% of the Seven Melbourne IDs, but sometimes the Max Roley voice-over from ATN7 was used)

Seven Colour Television - 1975

| With the arrival of colour television in 1975, Seven implemented the new rainbow style coloured logo,
and dazzled viewers with these far-out special effects, resembling a sort of Mad Catherine wheel!
