Basic Usage

To use the Search facility, simply type in the word(s) or phrase you wish to find amongst the pages on the site in the text-box, located just above the page navigation box and just below the site logo, then click on the Search button located to the right of the text-box.

If the search was successful, a page of search results will appear, complete with links to pages on the site matching your search query.

The number of results displayed on a search results page never exceeds 10. If the number of results exceeds 10, the search results will be divided amongst a number of pages, each with at least 10 results displayed. To navigate between results pages, click on the numbered links just above the horizontal line.

Search Options

• To search for a single word, just type word (where word is the word you wish to find)

• To search for a phrase, i.e. a sequence of words that are strictly found in the order specified and are strictly contiguous, type "word1 word2 word3....word_n" or word1+word2+word3+....+word_n For example, to search for the phrase 'The quick brown fox' type in either "The quick brown fox" or The+quick+brown+fox

• To search for a set of words that are not necessarily contiguous nor found in a particular order, however the page must contain all of the words featured in the search query, type word1 word2 word3...word_n (this is logically equivalent to word1 AND word2 AND word3....AND word_n). For example, to search for a page that contains both the words "grizzly" and "bear" just type grizzly bear

• To search for a set of words that are not necessarily contiguous nor found in a particular order, however the page must contain at least one of the words featured in the search query, type word1 OR word2 OR word3...OR word_n For example to search for a page that contains the words "cowardly" or "lion", type cowardly OR lion
