Working Dog Productions is a small but highly successful Australian Production company which produces films, television
programs and the satirical Jetlag travel guides (which include titles such as Phaic Tăn: Sunstroke
on a Shoestring). Working Dog is associated with Frontline Television Productions, which produced
the critically-acclaimed Frontline, a very popular parody of Australian television news and
current affairs programs.
Based in Melbourne, Australia, Working Dog was founded by several well-known and respected Australian
comedians and writers:
- Rob Sitch
- Jane Kennedy
- Tom Gleisner
- Santo Cilauro
- Michael Hirsh
- Glenn Robbins
Working primarily in comedy productions, with a particular love of satire, some of Working Dog's projects over the years have included
such films as The Dish and The Castle, and television programs such as The Panel, Thank God You're Here,
Russell Coight's All Aussie Adventures and A River Somewhere.
